बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव 2025 से पहले आरजेडी को बड़ा झटका लगा है. नवादा जिले की दो विधानसभा सीटों नवादा और रजौली से मौजूदा विधायक विभा देवी और प्रकाश वीर ने अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है. दोनों ने अपना त्यागपत्र विधानसभा अध्यक्ष नंदकिशोर यादव को सौंप दिया है.विधायक पद से इस्तीफा देने पर आरजेडी नेता प्रकाश वीर ने कहा, "...मैंने विधायक पद से त्यागपत्र दे दिया है..आरजेडी नेता तेजस्वी यादव एक बार नवादा में यात्रा के लिए गए थे, लेकिन उन्होंने हमें आमंत्रित नहीं किया, इसलिए हम नहीं गए। भीड़ में से किसी ने चिल्लाया, 'तेजस्वी भैया, प्रकाश वीर को हटाओ'...इससे मेरे आत्मसम्मान को ठेस पहुंची.
The RJD has suffered a major setback ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. Vibha Devi and Prakash Veer, the sitting MLAs from Nawada district's two assembly constituencies, Nawada and Rajauli, have resigned. Both submitted their resignations to Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav. Upon resigning, RJD leader Prakash Veer said, "...I have resigned from the MLA post...RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav once visited Nawada, but he didn't invite us, so we didn't go. Someone in the crowd shouted, 'Tejashwi Bhaiya, remove Prakash Veer'...This hurt my self-respect."
